Ida kills 91 in El Salvador, heads for U.S. Gulf Coast

Hurricane Ida has killed 91 by mudslides and flooding so far passing by El Salvador. Although many of the cities of the gulf coast have been warned New Orleans is not one. This huricane is expected to lose some power if it hits the gulf coast going from a catagory 1 hurricane to a tropical storm. Even though this isnt a big hurricane it still has potetial for alot of damage. It is calculated that the coast of the Yacatan Peninsula will rise 4 to 5 feet which could cause a bunch of damage.

This hurricane i hope will downgrade in a threat to the gulf coast. The effect of hurricanes on this region is terrible with all the fear you have to live with. The houses on the coast which may suffer flooding and water problems with the rain and rising of the water level of the gulf will almost have no way of stopping this problem. I dont think i will ever live in one of these high risk areas because you will never know what is coming up next and you always have to keep an eye on this problem.
